In 2017, Gina Calvin signed on to join the Excelsior Springs School district to continue her passion, teaching kids. The Excelsior Springs School District is proud to announce that Mrs. Calvin has been awarded the KC Regional Teacher of the Year award! She is now eligible for the Missouri Teacher of the Year Award for 2021!
Her dedication and commitment to excellence was recognized at the July Board of Education meeting. Mrs. Calvin was presented with a certificate of appreciation as well as a gracious gift from the Excelsior Springs Educational Foundation.
